What happens if I report an incident of sexual harm to UTS?

We treat all reports of sexual harm confidentially. Information you provide will be handled in line with the Sexual harm reporting privacy notice.
Do I have to report an incident of sexual harm to UTS?
No, this is entirely up to you. You can report it to us by using this form or you can report directly to the police. You can contact the NSW Police on the 24-hour NSW Police Assistance Line on 131 444. You can also report anonymously to the police by completing the Sexual assault reporting option (SARO) form.
If you do not wish to make a report, you can still access help and support. Visit Support for sexual harm.
A UTS counsellor can provide you with confidential support and assistance, and discuss with you other steps and options. This is a free and confidential service.
If I change my mind, can I report an incident at a later date?
Yes, you can report an incident at any time by completing this form.

Please only use this form to report incidents of sexual harm involving a UTS student.

This form is intended for both UTS students reporting their own experiences, and for those who are submitting a report on behalf of or about another UTS student.

If your incident is not about a UTS student, please consider reporting directly to the police, which can be done anonymously.

UTS staff are required to report UTS student disclosures by completing a summary form.
