By completing this application form, you will be considered for the UTS Medium Rare Content Agency Indigenous Scholarship - subject to meeting the relevant eligibility criteria.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Scholarship an applicant must:
- Be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent provide either:
- A Confirmation of Aboriginality from a Local Aboriginal Land Council or other Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander organisation; or
- A UTS Statutory Declaration form accompanied by two written references from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people from the applicants community who can confirm their identity and are not an immediate family member; and
- Commenced full-time study in a Bachelor of Communication or Bachelor of Creative Production (with a major in Media Arts (Single or Combined) at UTS
- All candidates must apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible
- All candidates may be required to attend an interview in person (Online or face-to-face)

Confirmation of Aboriginality
Applicants must upload either a Confirmation of Aboriginality, or a UTS Statutory Declaration form (and two written references) as part of this application. If you do not have this documentation still apply but it must be provided before any scholarship can be awarded.

Supporting statements
Prepare your written statements (maximum of 300 words each) in a text document, do not use any special formatting in your statements (i.e. no bullet points, numbering etc). Please avoid using any special formatting in your statements such as bullet points, italics, or special characters.
- What motivated you to pursue your degree and how would you describe your motivation to succeed in your studies?
- Describe any extra-curricular and non-academic activities and how your involvement has contributed to your personal development.
- How will this scholarship support you to complete your course degree at a higher level of performance than would otherwise be the case?
